EKU Campus Recreation employs over 150 students on campus, and annually invests nearly $300,000 back into our students through wages and development.

We have a variety of opportunities to join our dedicated and friendly staff! All open positions will be posted on jobs.eku.edu. Here are some entry level positions we employ, and most have opportunities for advancement:

COVID-19: Campus Rec FAQ's

In following the orders of our Govenor directive to close all recreational facilities and as part of the University's response to COVID-19, the Student Recreation Center will be closed until further notice, effective March 12th. Campus Recreation is dedicated to the health and safety of all members, and we are in support of this decision to preserve public health.

EKU Campus Rec Employee Wins Leadership Award

Alexis Riep Wins EKU Leadership Award

Intramural Supervisor Alexis "Lexi" Riep was awarded the EKU Excellence In Leadership Award on Wednesday, April 15th for her work at EKU Campus Recreation. The Senior Criminal Justice Major from Union, KY has worked at EKU Campus Recreation since her Freshman year and is described as someone who is "a lead by example" kind of person who has gone above and beyond to help enhance the Intramural program, from going out of her way to make new officials feel welcome to the staff and taking inititative in leading multiple trainings to her peers. 

 

Lexi plans to attend The University of Baltimore for Law School after she graduates in just a few weeks! You can read the whole announcement here
