Campus Recreation Student Awards
The true essence of the Student Recreation Center has always been the student staff. Each and every day these individuals come to work with a smile on their face ready to serve their fellow peers in the most remarkable ways. Even though some of them wake up at 5:00am to open the doors for the early morning patrons and others stay until midnight to ensure that facility is secure for the following day these staff members continue to exude excellence to the highest degree. Even now the student staff continue to serve the community by offering helpful programs through the week including fitness course, healthy habits and much more. Their drive and determination to enjoy each day of work while succeeding academically is what makes the Student Recreation Center so very special to EKU.
At this time, we are usually able to celebrate these monumental achievements from our staff members as a collective unit. However, due to these difficult times we have had to adapt our usual banquet filled with, laughter and love to a more health conscious agenda. Our student staff have already had the opportunity to video chat as a department, where outstanding staff members and graduating seniors were recognized.
At this time there are still 3 more student staff members that should be recognized for the Annual Student Staff Awards. Each of the award recipients was elected by their fellow peers and has continued to meet and or excel at the below criteria. We are happy to announce the following winners for this year’s Annual Campus Recreation Awards to some of the most outstanding staff members that work within the Student Recreation Center.
